Thanks, I was mostly just curious if they do dyno testing with their designs to optimize for gains.

What is more important is the amazing black friday deals on those BOVs

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Just do it... They are black and they are cheap. Just buy them.

I feel like you can achieve the same sound by installing an intake and at least you'll get some gains.

And Khar has some great BF savings on the Injen intake right now. That was my preferred choice for an intake, and the saving right now is substantial ...

$498? What's the normal price?

I could also weld together a dumpy looking homemade straight pipe exhaust too but id rather buy something professionally made that has been dyno tested. I think my biggest gripe with the Injen is the total lack of any kind of heat shield, it looks great though.

I'm having a hell of a time not pulling the trigger right now...
I'm following my Injen intakes on the way up to Sweetgrass, MT right now (for border pickup) - good product, and a pretty smoking deal with the BF offering. Was on the fence with the powder coat - but like and went with the black after some consideration.

Worth noting: KHAR has been excellent so far to deal with, also have more on the way/pending for purchases with them.

You could probably make your own and paint it red for under $120. A few ppl have done it and like the results.
Yes, I have some links on hand for silicon and/or aluminum parts to build one. It would take considerable time and effort to achieve a good result even aesthetically, and I don't have flow equipment to check whether I'm gaining or losing.

From what I can gather, I consider the Injen a well engineered product - and a good purchase at the normal price. I also like the appearance. At the current BF offering, I think for many it's time to get off the fence ...

Not saying I'd go the homemade route. I was pointing out that if someone is on the fence because of price there are cheaper options available.

I personally think Injen's intake is overpriced (at either $400 OR $500) for two painted tubes, two filters, and no heat shields. But I'm not in the market for a new intake so my opinion means bupkis.
