I have had a quick look and couldn't find anything. Where I live you can't have exposed pod filters without risk of getting defected. Is there any sort of cover that you can buy that covers them up?

I have the K&N typhoon setup.

Have you found any type of cover for these. Would like something like this for mine.

Would this work?

The aFe intakes are the only aftermarket enclosed intakes to my knowledge, unfortunately.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Get some ABS or HDPE sheets and make your own?

Or just get filterwears.

Leave it stock then

The stock airboxes are very good once you put in some quality drop-in filters and change the OEM air inlets. K&N, AEM, and aFe Power all make drop-in panel filters for the Stinger GT. Before I got the aFe Power Takeda intakes, I was running the stock airboxes with AEM drop-in filters.

I’m sure they are fine. As are the K&N intakes I have. I have no issues with them at all. Only issue I’ll have is, due to where I live, if a cop looks at them he can defect my vehicle. A cover for them would stop that from happening. Original poster was asking if anyone knew of any covers available.

With some of the aftermarket CAI, it isn't that difficult to fabricate a custom top cover. I'm going to do exactly that with our Injen for the 2.0T. No legal requirement here, but I don't like it sucking hot underhood air and getting heat-soaked when stopped in traffic or slow moving. Plus it'll help muffle that annoying turbo whoosh noise (yeah I know a lot of guys love that... I don't :geek:).

All it takes is a couple of sections of aluminum L-brackets, cut a panel to fit over the top opening, drill/tap for a number of screw holes, and that's about it.

I've never heard of intakes being an issue in NSW (but I'm new to this so...). Can you link to the rules re this? Also why would/does this rule exist? thanks in advance xoxo
There is a heatshield, I thin by W1 available for the injen intakes- but I think you're talking about more of a vanity cover though?
