Hello, as title says. i am new to the stinger family. i am looking to upgrade and customize my car.

I am looking for information on what mods are worth doing and which ones are not worth the trouble or money. would like to hear success stories and also failures. looking to spend money as wise as i can with the mods. any help would be great.

some things i am looking at are
jb4
pedal response - pedal commander i think its called.
cold air intakes.

but would love to hear about any other mods

Wow....you are pretty close to where i am.
I have a pedal commander, K and N drop ins and a catch can.
Car has plenty of power already for my liking...

Are you just interested in powertrain mods? What about handling mods?

oh wow. i did not think there would be anyone near me on here. do you find the pedal commander helped the delay in throttle response?

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

The guys who have Pedal Commanders seem to like them, but I'll offer a different view: maybe I'm getting old & boring, but with a tune and open intakes so you can really hear the spool, I like the little bit of "delay" when in Smart/Eco.

When I'm on a lazy cruise or hit a hill and dip into the throttle, the turbos don't immediately light up. Then in Sport it's noticeably more responsive/aggressive.

My recommendation would be to start with intake/plugs/tune, then reevaluate. See if you want to chase more power (via higher maps, ethanol mix, or even methanol/CPI), or need more throttle response, or want to work on handling or braking.

That is certainly something to think about indeed as I would say 70% will be just cruising around. Thank you for the insight. A idea to consider

I think the Takeda AfE intake is the only true CAI. The rest pull air from the engine bay.

I just put in K&N panel filters and the VelossaTach snorkels. Still pulling in cold(er) air and breathing better because the stock intake duct is restrictive. Sounds better, too.

For handling? Swaybars are the best bang-for-the-buck mod.
