Couldn't find the right CPO, so i forced the local dealers to fight over my business on the 2020 Special Edition GT. The mechanical LSD in the rear was the main selling point for new over used. Starting the day at one dealership for an offer sheet, then going to a second who could not beat the first. Lastly, i went to the dealership i had originally test drove at almost 2 months ago and they beat the offer by more than a grand. I was not aware of any other dealers in my area getting one of the special editions. I got a very fair allowance on my trade in which included an extra 1500 from kia; more than i would have got if i'd sold private party. I believe MSRP is just over 46K, and with 8 grand on trade, i only financed 31k? Got the warranty wrap to cover almost everything for 120month/100k and gap coverage should some other idiot total the car while on the road. I'm happy to buy where i originally shopped, but I dont think they give me the same deal if not for leveraging the other dealership offers. I was quite suprised to get such a deal on a special edition, and never really thought id be able to afford new, let alone a sought after model.
