Hi everyone, new to the site, great site, has helped my research heaps.

I am in oz, have an MY18 Hyundai i30 SR Premium, purchased before the N's were announced, was thinking to upgrade to an N of some type at end of lease JUN21, especially hearing that there is likely to be an N Performance with DCT released at about that time.

But, I've always had a hankering for the Stinger. We recently sold a house for a great price so the Stinger has become more of a possibility. I read a rumour that there might be a Stinger update mid-2021 that included a move to the the 3.5L so I was resigned to waiting to mid-2021 but my subsequent research is telling me that the 3.5L is not going to happen then if at all.

So as things stand now I am likely to step up and get a brand spanking new Stinger in early 2021!

have fun everyone :)

Sounds promising! Hope to hear more from you later.

Welcome to the forum. Pull the trigger on the Stinger when you can. You won't be disappointed and there is nothing wrong with the 3.3TT. It's a great engine.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Roger that, tho there appears to be a distinct lack of clarity/certainty about the 2021 release here, might have to wait for the dust to settle :(

There is a post on this forum about it and I noticed someone has posted photos of the new car. Have a read, you might find out more about it.

Yep, I'm following that, fair bit of confusion there as well, pretty poor job by KIA IMHO, AU web site still presenting 2020 model range :(

Welcome to the hive! - I wouldn't hang my hat on any rumours, most are not generated by people "on the inside" - if you can get a great deal, grab it
