Ordered a pre-painted (Hichroma Red) M&S Type S spoiler from ImportShark on 11/9/18. Was concerned about the negative forum feedback and Vendor responses in those threads as well as some gereral internet review searches.

However, they were very receptive and responsive to my pre-purchase questions and concerns. They were equally responsive on my post purchase questions on order status.

I received emails from ImportShark as the status of my order changed. I received emails from PayPal with shipping details/tracking once available.

The web site stated it could take up to 30 days... and the product arrived in 29 days.

Product was well protected, and the paint looks fantastic. No imperfections, no orange peel, no scratches, etc.

Overall very pleased.

I know the history on them did cause some consternation prior to my purchase. But I’m glad I worked with them. Price was excellent too. $250 painted/shipped.

I have ordered several parts for my stinger and even more parts for my previous genesis coupe from Importshark. They always came through for me and if I had any issues from shipping or what they assisted me in either getting a replacement or refund. It may take a little longer for some products but they always pull thru for me. I'm just reporting on my experience with them and I'll be keeping them on my vendor list.

Damn, that’s annoying to hear. I badly want a spoiler on mine but have held off due to concerns about being able to accurately colour match the paint locally (Hi Chroma red also). The plethora of negative reviews on these guys made me swear to never buy anything from them but now these positive reviews are making me rethink my prejudice.

Cognitive dissonance anyone?

Buy a flat black one online & go to a reputable smash repairer & have it painted. I went to the one my dealer uses & he is really good, perfect colour match & they fitted it as well, be on now about 5 months & no problem.

Yeah, thought of that. The only thing stopping me is that I’m unsure as to how close the colour match would be. It would give me the shits big time to pay for a spoiler, pay for the painting then not fit it because my OCD didn’t like the colour match. Yours looks good. OP has kindly offered to post some pics later on so I’ll wait and have a look at them before making a decision.

Well before they did mine they had the car for an hour a week before to colour match, don’t know what’s involved but I guess the process worked. There is now a seller in QLD selling the M & S Type spoilers at a good price, free shipping & no GST. I’m OCD too & was beside myself while they had it for the day, then came to pick it up was overjoyed with the result, best $270 I spent.
