I'm missing my stinger like crazy.... :(

My stinger got rear ended a month or so back. the damage wasn't that bad, but I had to drop it off at a body shop and get a rental. I got a 2020 bmw 530i while its being fixed. the bmw is not fun to drive AT ALL. bland looks and feel. I feel like a snob looking down on a new bmw but its just not a stinger. Its to the point I don't even like to be seen in it I'm ashamed to admit. I used to love getting up in the morning just because I knew Id get to drive my stinger to work. After work sometimes I'd end up cruising for a couple of hours before returning home. with this rental, all I want to do is go straight home. I barely want to even drive to the gym.

anyway, the stinger is supposed to be ready this Tuesday and I cannot wait to hop back inside and mash that gas!

Interesting confession. I've never, ever heard of a new BMW as a loaner, much less anyone complaining about it. The 530i is touted as "the ultimate driving machine". (What a strange way to begin my day, heh!)

I drove a BMW 550Xi as a loaner while my Stinger GT2 was in the shop. That event started me on a quest leading to the Mercedes S550 I’ve had for the last 13 months and 31,000 miles. There must be a huge difference between the smaller engine and that TT V8 in the 550Xi. It was a comfortable blast to drive!

I never said it was and I don't doubt that. it really isn't the point of my post but for a car that costs more than a GT2 even as a base model I expected better. I just miss my baby. I hope it's ready early tomorrow and not the estimated 4:51 pm

It's actually still a little bland based on the reviews i've seen. Doesn't seem to matter if it's the M car.

I feel your pain, but I'd be thrilled they gave me a RWD BMW instead of a Forte or a Soul as a rental. first world problems, I guess.
