If you go with the 'E' Badging.....

Yes and yes and cost varies, the dealerships usually charging a lot more if they'll agree to do it at all. I think you get what you pay for here: because a high end body shop will agree that if they stuff it up they'll fix what they stuff up. I wouldn't do it myself either, and I am handy with crafty things.

Furthermore, I won't risk this in the first place; because even if a body shop will repair any paint damage they do removing the OEM badges, I don't want my car out of commission for X number of days. I used "K" skins on my KIA badges, so I can swap them out or go back to KIA anytime I choose without the slightest inconvenience or risk.
Did using the skins turn out well?

It did for me. A couple of guys on here have been unsatisfied with the results: observing that the skins did not go on flush all the way around the edges, or lifted on one edge after installation. Sal promises money back if you are unsatisfied. I also read of one case where the skins were pulled off, then the skins were tweaked until they lay perfectly flat on their own all the way around: fresh 3M tape was put inside and they looked perfect after that. If mine start to come up, I will try that first before ditching them. It's been over half a year with them on and they still look good.

(edit to add: I just noticed that you are brand new. Welcome!:D)

Am thinking about rebadging my new Kia Stinger GT1... do I buy the parts then take it to a body shop to get the old ones removed/new ones put on? How much approx. would that cost? I don't really trust myself to do it!

Welcome. Please add your location to your user profile.

There is no one answer to your question. Some have had success at their local dealer. Some have used body shops. Some have been charged very little, others a lot. Some dealers and some bodyshops won't touch it. Some "pros" have messed it up. Most amateurs have not.

Plenty of discussion on this topic here already, with many examples of what I stated to be found.

I just bought my GT2 last Saturday (2/23/19) and it came with ALL the "E" badging along with STINGER on hatch.
Including wheels and steering wheel.

I replaced all the badges but the steering wheel. I like opening the door for people and presenting them with the KIA logo as proof, that it's a KIA

Hi, I have just bought a Stinger, trading up from an Optima. I would like to eliminate all badging on the rear and put a complete set of "E"s on front, back, wheels and steering wheel. Is that possible? Is it advisable?

Certainly possible, yes. Whether or not it is advisable is a matter of opinion. If you like it, go for it.

Overlays for wheels have been on for nearly 10 months and so far no issues.

I went with the new red/black k logo badges and just installed them today while my car is in shop getting film and ceramic coating. I also removed the gt1 and stinger badges on rear of car for a cleaner look.

I ordered "e" badges for the front, rear, wheels, and steering wheel.

E at the front, Stinger script at the back (removed the AWD and small stinger script), E wheel cap and E overlay steering wheel.
The E on the steering wheel does look good in an oval shape, I did noticed the overalay is a bit short, you can tell from the side, it cuts a bit short (anyone else having this issue?).
I didn't go with GT overlay as we already have a red GT on the steering wheel
