I got a 2019 GT2 and the negotiation was that they were going to give me 11,000 off of MSRP (about 51,000).
The pink paper which is the Bupers Order Agreement and information form says Vehicle purchase Price is 46,710 minus rebates 5,500 and and also minus 5,500 (down payment that we never made) For a total Balance on delivery of 42,825.
Now the problem is on lease agreement goes like this:

rob.webp

I want to buy out of the lease after the 1st payment of the lease which would be 636.85
Can any one please tell me where is the 11,000 USD discount the dealer promised?
I only see that they gave me less than 5,000 in discount.

Feel so dumb!

Please assist thank you guys!

Edit - I think I was wrong on this.

Your 'dealer discount' would include any and all cap cost reduction rebates and lease rebates typically. You still got 5500 actual discount plus the rebates. That's what the other 5500 is... Lease rebates.

Do his much in total discount did I get? 5500 plus 3700? For a total of 9100?

Discount would be actual price minus agreed upon price. What was MSRP plusany add ons? I still think you got a great deal.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
If you got an AWD model msrp should be 53,395 so your numbers dont look that far off now that Im looking at the math.

Ughhh... The dealer didn't add $1800 of anything.

The MSRP was 51000 and the dealer added 1800 in stuff like Window tinting nitrogen in tires ETC. thanks for responding

Just curious, what else is included in "ETC" out of that $1800 figure?

The stealer told me I will be getting a total of 11,000 USD in discounts from rebates, etc and the MSRP being 51,000, but I don't see that on this document the Agreed upon value of the car (gross capitalized cost) is 47,821 not 42,000 or something...

I will only comment that you got ripped on the $1800 dealer profit. Nitrogen is 80% of normal air. It might cost $1 to put air in your tires once every couple months if you don't have an air source. Paint protect has been scam-worthy for years. Window tint? A great tint runs about $200 and I'm thinking that the factory already does the rear windows but I don't know.

But it's a great car I'm told! lol

They gave you 5k off after inflating 1800. Many dealers do this. Then you got the rebates. I spoke face to face with the VP of my local dealer and he claimed there was no way to not pay those adds as the ''owners" don't allow it. I told them my lawyer doesn't allow me to get milked for things I don't want on the car. They ended up getting waived with a bigger discount and more for the trade.

I had a Hyundai dealer try to charge me $2000 for tint, nitrogen, pin stripes and maybe something else on a Sonata. It was all on their add-on sticker. I then brought the salesman back to the car and asked him to show me the pin stripes... DOH! Must be the clear ones... No, never... Going to check out a GT2 tomorrow and if they try that my personal price will drop accordingly and I may end up driving home in the car I drive there.

So to make things straight how much in total do you think I got off 5k -1800 plus 5500= 8700?

Looks like Msrp $51,000. Dealer discount of $4290. Lease rebate $5500- $1800 dealer crap= $3700. Still over $8000 off plus some dealer add ons. Don't understand item "A" though, there's a $1100 worth of service contract, insurance or prior balance?

Who knows what is the $1100 probably another add on by the stealership. :poop::D

So thanks seems I got about 8000 off, thank you for your reply.

Am I the only one wondering what the "rent charge" of 5500 is?

Was your lease thru KMF?
