I love you Stinger, but I went another way.

I seriously, no, VERY seriously looked at the '19 K900 as my next car.
At 62, I'm leaning more towards comfort, quietness, roominess and LOTS of electronic bell and whistles to make for a nice, calm, serene ride.
Oh hell!! Who am I kidding!! My Aurora Black/Red Nappa Leather Stinger Limited arrives May 12th!!!

Nothing wrong with what you bought! The Cadenza is a damn nice vehicle. It never gets enough praise.

Definitely one of the most underrated cars on the market. Critical praise of the redesign was overwhelmingly positive, but I rarely if ever see them on the road. Hopefully the Stinger helps to eliminate some of this “45-50k for a KIA??” mindset that we deal with.

I am getting more and more......I just can't do a KIA. My response......Have you driven one? No. Most answers are have not sat in one, have not driven, have not considered. Yet we still have dealers requesting credit apps on Stingers when the customer pulls up in a Lexus,BMW or Mercedes. The KIA customer, have it be a Rio or Stinger deserves the same respect. KIA is so much more advanced than it use to be. Night and day difference. I'm really excited for the next generation of vehicles as everything starts to trickle down. We are starting to see some of that now.

I do think the customer base is a problem. I leased my Cadenza from a large ish dealer in Phoenix, and it was the 24th of the month. I got into F&I to sign paperwork, and the finance manager told me I was the second lease THIS MONTH. I couldn’t believe it, and he told me “the demographic here, and for Kia...we don’t get a lot of leases done”.

I stand by my assertion that Kia should drop their money factors drastically and make these higher end cars easy to lease. Get someone in a GT2 for $450 a month. Get more of the damn cars on the road and get people excited about them.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Phoenix........Bentley's and Rolls Royce are as common as Accords and Camry's compared to where I live. If you enjoy looking at cars, Phoenix is a great place.

Maybe a slight exaggeration. But if you sub BMW and Benz, Audi & Lexus and you live on the northeast side of town it certainly applies.

I’m in Scottsdale. I see a lot sick cars every day haha. Bentleys and Rolls are not uncommon, and I’ve seen a handful of Maclarens as well.

Kia had better re-educate it’s dealers and sales staff on how to treat potential $50k buyers. If you are going to try and draw current or former Lexus, Audi & Infinity customers to Kia, then you have to revamp the dealership experience!

AAaaahhh dam I miss Old Town..... Had the pleasure of living literally a 5 min cab ride from Old Town Scottsdale from the beginning of '04 to the end of '06 for a company I used to work for. Yes, there are some amazingly cool cars out there, and the higher end brands are more prevalent. Most owners are cool as hell to talk to about the cars, but there is always the random dick that acts like they are better than everyone. All I say is Karma is a bitch.

But I digress.... The brand snobbery I don't think will ever go away. I know more and more of the people I interact with have went and driven/purchased/will purchase a Stinger as their next vehicle and have all walked away in amazement at the quality of Kia compared to BMW/MB/Audi/etc. They all thought I was nuts for passing on an AMG/M3/RS3/RS5, but once they saw the car in person and were given personal look at what the car can do; I'm the only one laughing, all the way to the bank.:D
