Heh, I did the same thing when we bought the Rio for our Au Pair, and the salesman gave it to me. I choose the one with the banjo. It is pinned up in my garage.

Is the Stunger the german version?

My Stinger is a great car, turns heads everywhere it goes especially the deep chroma blue. Brilliant to drive and most of the gizmos are great. I really have issues with the info-tainment system, not interacting with SMS's, not showing names of callers on the screen and the traffic updates suck.....the alleged sub woofers....and I am getting the bolster on the drivers seat replaced. Pretty sure you're all aware of my opinion of KIA and their ability to communicate - my warranty claim has not improved it.

But, the car itself....excellent.

Stinger was the car when we were waiting or refering to someone elses car. Maybe its a Sydney thing but no ones appears to give my car a second look.

I shall change the rear (yet another) badge on my car to read Stunger.

When I had my car in Sydney over Xmas a guy fell over the tyre stop in a bunnings carpark whilst looking at it. Funny as all #$%&. I suspect removing the KIA badges may have helped pique peoples curiosity....

Yes if i recal you opted for the k badges. I used those on the wheel hubs and steering wheel. I put E on the front and stinger script on the back. The kia removal does add to the mystery. My neighbour thought it was some sort of maserati. Time to turn in.

Six weeks since I took delivery of the GT and Kia NZ sent a gift in the mail, a very nice leather look valise as shown:

It even has the word 'Stinger' monogrammed each end. So lucky me and well done Kia NZ.
