But what does this have to do with the MBRP? Doesn't your exhaust have its own thread and limited group buy?
Maybe the "Exhaust Debate" thread would be a better place for your post.

Sounds nice. But to be honest it sounds pretty similar with the exception of being a little louder perhaps. Why did you switch?
You can make any exhaust sound like how you want in promotion videos. Need to hear in person or wait for user made videos.

This is a user made video. I made them, with my iPhone. I’m the first person in the US to get one, so I am making the videos and stuff. Don’t tell me the videos look that good because then, I’m going to blush! Lol.

The only reason, only only reason, is that I needed a valved option. When I found one that sounded as good (to my ears) as the MBRP, I made the switch.

Hmm. You’re not wrong. I just thought that my input could be useful since I owned the MBRP exhaust for a while before switching. Again, I did not switch because the MBRP was no good.

Hopefully someone will split this to another thread but the valve control comes at a cost:
You can't use it along JB4 or Lap3 piggybacks that require full time OBD2 connection.

BTW you may say otherwise, but in your video the audio is clearly reworked. Maybe the sound comes from another recording or has been augmented. It sounds like in a tunnel. Also intake sounds shouldn't be that loud from such distance.

I can show you a bunch of similar promotion videos for exhausts such as JunBL, RES, FI etc. they make it sound quite different from the reality.

I am not saying that your exhaust (that you are promoting, lets not lie) sounds bad. It does sound good as I heard it in person. But it wouldn't sound like your video without a little magic touch. Also it sounds different than MBRP, based on the many user videos I heard of it.

I get why you'd post about it. It's something we haven't had here in the states and naturally being the first, you'd want others to know about it.
I just think this may be the wrong place, because it would lead folks to think something was wrong with the MBRP, which as you said isn't correct. Maybe having its own thread with a comparison (pro/con) and your video in addition to the thread about the pre-order/groupbuy would be better options. Also, it may help to put a bit of a disclaimer on the top of those threads that you're a consumer and you are not advertising or sponsored by the company.

Agreed. Well, before I leave (stop commenting), I will repeat that the MBRP is still a dope exhaust!

This has already been discussed in this thread already. Please, read threads thoroughly before commenting.

o_O Aren't you a hypocrite? You started by posting an irrelevant response

I think he said it has a fob to remotely open/close the valves. My assumption is that doesn't require a connection to the OBDII. He can verify if he'd like.
