So you're saying the 2018-2021 gt1 have the 7" display but the 2022 gt1 doesn't? Wow, that sucks. I have a base gt so I only get the smaller display. I'd heard that some features were cut from the model but that's kinda ridiculous. Especially if you have a newer model but you get less options and have to pay more money.

it feels ridiculous since they kept the gt1 nomenclature... but if you look at it a different way, they cut the base gt trim out so the gt1 is the base v6 trim now... so it met in the middle i guess.. new gt1 no longer has ventilated seats or the hk sound or the bigger gauge screen gets the new base led headlights not the projector style, but keeps more of the safety tech like auto emergency braking, lane keep and lane following, keeps the sunroof from before that the base gt didn't have. Basically the new gt1 is the base gt1+the safety/convenience features like SCC+stop and go.
price wise it's i think fair, 2021, the MSRP was 45,490$US for a RWD GT1, 2022 RWD GT1 MSRP is 43,890$US..
I guess though with the market the way it has been it feels worse since pre 2021, people were getting 3-7k$ UNDER MSRP , now you are lucky to get MSRP.

I wonder why Kia decided to change the orientation of the screen for 2022? I have a 2020 base gt and it's horizontal which is still obviously smaller than the gt2 screen but I think with them switching it vertically for the 2022 it looks even worse.

Are you talking about the screen in between the gauges? That's what I was referring to, not the touch. Because that seems to be the same size just turned vertically, correct?

Ok, so let me get this straight. The 22 GT2 screen I’m talking about is where the speedometer is, so can or can not be swapped to a 22 GT1? Of course, I understand the 360 camera wouldn’t work when using the turn signals, but it’s a bigger and better display. If this could be done, I need to find somebody to do this and pay them ASAP. So this can be done?

I have a face-lifted GT1 and initially planned on swapping out to the (larger) 7in supervisor but decided against. My assumption was that the tiny little gauge display on the 7in was bigger. However the graphics are essentially the same so other than moving things around a bit I don't think there is really any benefit to the larger supervisor without the supporting equipment.
