The stinger is my 3rd car. That's if you don't count the rebuilt ones that I didn't daily. I count it as an early birthday present, as I will be turning 22 next month. I just might be able to get it fixed in time lol.

22? i remember being that age, all those years ago. i think at 22 i had bought my first new car, a corvette, that got stolen 3 days after i bought it, got it back, had it rebuilt, got hit on the west side highway, got it rebuilt, then proceeded to blow up the engine revving against a gnx. blew a piston out the side of the block. oh well, its just money

My Stinger is definitely a step up from the other cars. The others got me from A to B during college. The Stinger gets me from A to C, then to G, then to Q, then maybe if I’m done having fun, to B.

I had an 04 dsco also. an hse. sucked gas like it was going out of style, and then I got the dreaded knock. top hatted her, then the air suspension would decide it wanted to sit for awhile. while I was driving, so I had half a lowrider. then the roto coupling on the driveshaft let go. plus all the leaks, groans, and for an aluminum bodied vehicle, a crap load of rust. but she was different.

It was a 7.5s 0-60 car so not a tremendous slouch for the day. But that engine sound, omg I loved that. I dont know if it was normal but mine revved to 7800rpm before fuel cut and that thing screamed. Sounded like Nissan RB, kind of

The fastest I'd driven on public roads in the US was in my '95 Talon, until I got my Stinger. Indicated 155 (probably more like 145). The Stinger cruises at that speed..

The dealer I bought it from ran an Eagle race team, and did me some favors. Almost 250hp (vs 210 claimed stock).. 6-second 0-60 made mustangs and camaros cry.. woot..

It was a 7.5s 0-60 car so not a tremendous slouch for the day.

WoW, no slouch at all. My buddy had one after I got rid of my 240sx but it was stock so not the quickest but I did love the curves of the car
