I’ve noticed after drives there is a lot of heat build up in the area near the driver side intake. The hood, brace, intake box, pipe leading into intercooler, and surrounding metal will heat up to a noticeable temperature, probably resulting in some heat soak.

does anyone else have this issue or might know what is causing it? I have a 2019 Stinger GT2.

Heat is normal and takes a lot of to time to dissipate.

I understand that. What concerns me is the concentration of heat in the area during and after driving.

Howdy, Angel. Welcome to the forum. I have never opened my hood after a drive and hunted around for heat buildup. What caused you to notice this in the first place?

Hello! Sometimes i will sit on the left fender (near the headlight) after a drive and notice the heat on that portion of the hood.

Try sitting on the right fender and see if your butt thermometer says warmer/cooler/same?:P:whistle:
