Hot spot near driver side intake

I’ve noticed after drives there is a lot of heat build up in the area near the driver side intake. The hood, brace, intake box, pipe leading into intercooler, and surrounding metal will heat up to a noticeable temperature, probably resulting in some heat soak.

does anyone else have this issue or might know what is causing it? I have a 2019 Stinger GT2.

I understand that. What concerns me is the concentration of heat in the area during and after driving.

What causes it is the turbo on that side of the engine. Nothing you can do about it.

I think the heat buildup is closer to the inlet pipe for the intercooler.

Hello! Sometimes i will sit on the left fender (near the headlight) after a drive and notice the heat on that portion of the hood.

Try sitting on the right fender and see if your butt thermometer says warmer/cooler/same?
