Horn Beep Upon Locking

My stinger has never beeped or chirped in the 2 years of ownership. Either this is the case or I've never locked my car properly since owning it haha. Fairly sure its the former.

It’s like those ring tones the kids use. Old folks can’t hear the frequency (I kid I kid.... or do I... hmmmm)

I was wrong, sorry. I went and checked, I had remembered choosing off, chirp, or horn - but it turns out, that is my Sorento. The Stinger just beeps gently (which is how I have my Sorento set as well..)

Kind of crazy it's not an option on the Stinger, but more interesting yours doesn't make any sound at all. I guess they don't want your disturbing the neighbors in Germany!

My Optima had this, and could have SWORN my 2018 GT2 had this as well.

Mine doesn't make a sound, nor is there any option in any of the menus (that I can find). Which is annoying, as I'd like to hear the tone.

Any Australian owners out there who get a chirp on lock/unlock?

Is there a way to activate the chrip/beep when locking/unlocking the car? I have a feeling it can be achieved via fob button combo?
Mine only does the light flash.
Although there is a continues beep when keys are not detected when engine is running.

I’ve never had a BBC at that didn’t beep when you locked it !
