Honest Answer

Just wondering if you ever got a response regarding your order? I'm thinking about placing one myself! And I'm torn between Khartunerz and the K8 Stinger Store.

I've ordered from both and you can't go wrong with either as far as I'm concerned. Both are really good vendors that will be getting my business soon.
 
I am a bit less worried about lead times, than I am quality. Just received an M&S Type-G Spoiler from ImportShark yesterday, after waiting 4 weeks... And let me say, the fit and finish are sub-par. Aside from the visual blemishes (paint scuffs, and embedded fingerprints), the overall length is off by about half an inch! When lined up on one side, there is a large gap between the spoiler and edge of the trunk. Also, the rear just above the taillight curves up toward the edges, and does not sit flush with the light all the way across.

I contacted ImportShark to request a refund, but they assured me that this was normal!
Ya they’re another one we hear a lot of complaints about. Personally used them once and had a good experience. But with all the negativity around them I left it at that. I have a M&S G-type as well. In fact I just put it on for the second time because the supplied tape let go. Anyway there is about three thirty seconds to an eighth of an inch on either side.

Mine did not come with tape. But I had gone out and purchased some thicker 3M tape anyway, based on an install video I watched by Tork Motorsports. Unfortunately, I will not be installing this one... Still battling ImportShark to accept the return. Even sent M&S America a message with the photos, and they agreed that it should sit flush on both sides.

I will likely have to start a new thread devoted to ImportShark. As this may be a lengthy battle!... That, and I would like to hear others stories as well. It would help my case if this becomes a legal battle!

RAIDERBEE, hopefully you hear something soon... Not a good feeling when you have issues before you even receive your order!
 
I ordered some HPS 5.0 and EBC brake pads from Khar and they were sent out next day air in time for my track day this weekend. The HPS came from CA and EBC was drop shipped from a distributor in PA. Worked out great.
 
Great news!! I received a response from ImportShark!!... Unfortunately, they only responded after I opened a PayPal dispute... Here is what they had to say verbatim:

"You didn't even bother trying to put the 3M on the god damn thing to install it, but you put more effort into harassing us and running off to Paypal to open a dispute now. Seriously you need to get a life you peasant."

Can't even make this stuff up! Pure gold!

UPDATE - I was finally able to speak to someone. They’ve told me that someone at Injen was affected by Covid which delayed shipment and have created a back order on items.. Prayers to the person affected. According to them my item should be sent soon..
 
Got an email update that my order was shipped! So no concerns on my end anymore about khartunerz :)

There is already a dedicated thread or two specifically calling out Importshark. Just like your response from him its all breathtaking stuff. For more eye watering info do a google review read.
 
Nothing wrong with the products. Maybe because I’m in Canada it took an unreasonably long time to get a tracking number, confirmation of shipping and ultimately my order. When I inquired I was spoken down to a treated like an idiot. Thinking back I believe I went through this same performance on two maybe three occasions before I woke up and stopped using them. I don’t mind waiting for orders but when customer service is rude or nonexistent when I inquire, I’m sorry but I have too much self respect for that nonsense. A bit surprised with your situation those guys have had a pretty good rep since I’ve been here. Good luck to you. Cheers.


+1 Eibachs were listed as in stock on the K8 website so I ordered. Several days later no update so when I inquired I was told they are on back order and could take months. When I asked why were they shown as in stock I was belittled like I was supposed to know that I can't expect them to update the stock status of all their items. I asked to cancel the order and was met with hostility. The owner personally called me late in the evening to yell at me, and utilizing his gas lighting techniques I ended up apologizing to HIM. The next day I woke up and felt like I had been roofied, I sent an email asking him never to contact me again. He never did, that includes not sending me a refund or the items. I know a lot of people had bad experiences with him but his sly manipulative gas lighting techniques leave people wondering if they just misinterpreted the situation, or just not wanting to deal with him. At least Import Shark comes out and speaks his mind and not try to play psychological games to make you think you weren't screwed.

Those paint scuffs are pretty bad, I wouldn't consider that normal. I ordered a type-s spoiler painted from them and took about the same amount of time which was expected before ordering. Mine did have a small chip that was painted over and I considered contacting him, but based off of reviews I decided not to bother. The spoiler length is a little shorter on mine as well so I centered it so the gap is the same on each side, but since mine is painted body color it looks fine IMO. Overall, my experience wasn't perfect, wasn't terrible, but I don't order from them again.
 
I’ve made 6 orders with them over the last year and a half. My pedal tuner, ark downpipes, ark springs, eibach rear sway bar & endlinks, front pads, stingerhaus winglets. Every order came in a timely matter with shipping updates available and everything has arrived well packaged. And my most recent order arrived this past afternoon.
which ark springs did you get and what can you say about them?
