Yesterday while driving home from work...

OK ok, I admit, I had just filled up and hit highway speeds for about 5 miles before taking this pic. Just nice to see. Wish it would stay that high on avarage. :P

Doh! :p
Fixed.

10k miles o.0

I know you have a looooong commute but oh my! In other news...I’ve never seen even 0.1 over 34mpg. Guess I won’t ever with AWD.

What trim is that? Ive not seen the Speed Limit sign in the upper corner ever on mine. I have GT2 so it shows on the HUD. However, would like the option to put it there also if HUD is OFF.

My Babe is a 2.0 Premium. The Speed Limit in the dash was an option somewhere that I turned on when I first bought the car. I am sorry, I cannot remember where at the moment, and she is at the dealership for her Hatch Rattle repair (2nd time) and paint chip issues, as well as scheduled service.

Yep, I do. Just over 100 miles a day back and forth to work. It sucks, but I LOVE where I live.
Right now I have a 2017 Niro loaner. I am hitting just over 50MPG in the Niro...

Curious to hear more on the paint chip issue, either here or in the other thread...hope it all works out.

and 50mpg in the NIRO!!! WOW...too bad it looks like it looks :laugh::laugh::laugh:

Got 32mpg on my gt1 awd on "comfort" mode during a ride trip. At first I was like no way! But did it again on my way back home.

Sounds great to me ...you answered a big question I had. I currently own an Optima SXL 2.0 Turbo ...rated at 31 hwy & I consistantly get over 34 highway on a trip. I always use high test gas and was hoping the Stinger GT would get better than their rated 28 mpg hwy! I'm strongly considering the a GT Stinger. I like the front grill & accents much better on the GT over the 4 cyl Premium!

@Photogbill: What "accents"? I'm not seeing the difference, aside from the Brembo brakes getting those air shoveling "blades"; which gives a chromy insert look to the bottom grille. Is that what you are talking about?

Revising an old thread...
So as some know, I now drive a GT2. I have been worried about the MPG I was going to see compared to the 2.0 I had. I was hoping for at least 26. I was avaraging about 31 MPG in the 2.0 Premium. I filled up yesterday afternoon (93 Octane), so this is one and a half days of commutes, total of roughly 150 miles.

I must say, I am damned impressed. :)

It is a long story that I have not gone into detail about *yet* on the forums, or in my other thread. I am still waiting for final confirmations to be sent out to me from KMA. Needless to say, KMA took care of me, and while not giving me exactly what I asked for, they came very close to it. I have loved KIA since 2007 with my Sadona, and I can say, I still love them even after everything I went through with the first Stinger.

Picture is better then me telling you, so:

Agreed, i must have missed this also...did you get a new GT2 as a swap for the paint issues you were having?? If so, that is awesome!

The 401 mileage until empty is that on a 2.0 or 3.3? Every time I fill up I always get 290-298 never anything past. Only one time I got 317 cuz I over toped it

It looks like we posted at same time...cant wait to hear the story but it appears you were taken care of. I will be rather impressed to hear Kia took care of everything.

I didnt even bother to drive the 2.0 and have immensely enjoyed the Sunset Yellow GT2 in my garage. Welcome to the top trim!

Cheers

Good numbers! Saw 29 on mine briefly after a fill up and drive to work, in ECO. My plan to drive ECO all week went south, I noticed it was past 600 miles and I put it in Sport mode and went for an hour drive on some back roads! So much fun!
