HKS SPARK PLUGS QUESTION AGAIN

For hks 45il do you need to regap? Vendor told me I don’t have to but I just want to make sure since installation cost me alot.

Check the gap prior to installation. Mine came at .026 I think. Had to gap it at .022.

Really? Every people here just mention about regapping oem. And youtube shows all that they just install and never say anything about regap hks 45il.

Mine came pregapped at between .26 and .30 very inconsistent so yes regap them.

Mine from the stinger store sold as '.028' gap and i checked them all before install and they were all perfect

Doctorstiches, so did you gap it down to 0.022 or just install as it is 0.028?

Install as .028 because im not tunning or raising boost levels and i have had no issues with them. And many misfires when they were stock plugs...

If you blow your engine up, good luck telling KIA, “but the vendor told me.”
Double check and gap as necessary before installing.
