Do the Plugs come pre gapped out of the box for what they recommend for the JB4.
I hope so. Because I installed them and stupid me did not check them prior to putting them in.

Doubtful. Do you really want to run your car and not be sure about the plugs? Its worth the time to take them back out and check them.

What do the HKS need to be gapped at?

It has been difficult to find exactly what they should be gapped but the range I've found is .022"-.026". Most people seem to do .024". I went ahead and did .022" and have been running JB4/map5 much better than my gapped stock plugs. I would recommend getting the 14mm BMS Billet Spark Plug Gapper with the feeler gauge.

I have the HKS for the 2.0T and .022 was recommended. .024 should work but like "Spaceme17" says, you don't want to install them without the proper gap......m-i-s-f-i-r-e......not good. if you have the 3.3, gap should be about the same. Gap tool is makes it easy
