Hello folks, hope y’all are staying safe. How does the stinger holds up after say, 25k + miles of driving. Thanks for the answers, safe.

11700 and running like new lol. Sorry but subscribed

1 year old and 30k miles - no major issues

Between me and my coworker who bought my GT2, 30,000 miles (25,000 + tuned), it is running great!

27k, 2 years on a very early '18 model.

Problems:
Hatch Rattle - Fixed by adding washers to the trunk lid.
Brake pulsating - Initially fixed by re-bedding the brakes. Problem started coming back every 2k miles though, so I replaced rotors/pads with sportier stuff.
Auto Start/Stop not running - Don't know, don't care. Probably need to put the battery on a tender for a day (I have a sub/amp connected which probably drops me below 12.4v under load), but I prefer it broken. Lol.
Paint chips on hood - Damn thing is a paint chip MAGNET. But ah well, it's a car, not a museum piece.

Otherwise, just normal maintenance, Oil changes every 5k, etc. On second set of rear summer tires, fronts still going strong (Though, I do run winters Oct-April, so wear on the summer tires is halved)

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

That line Auto start/stop had me rolling lol. Those are very minor issues for a 1st gen, brilliant.

I get to share again. Thanks!

Going on 34K miles and over 26 months. Nothing except regular maintenance. On second set of Michelins since late last summer. PPF on entire front (forward of windshield) since three months in; the entire car looks great. No extraneous noises whatsoever.

11 months, 25.5k

  • hatch rattle/thunk - fixed with $1 washers
  • brake pulsating - not fixed yet, have the pads just lazy.
  • Like Merlin, have full frontal PPF and paint is in perfect shape.
  • Interior also holding up very well, only visible wear is one small crease in outbd driver's seat bolster.
  • Sunroof and grab handles creak a little, but been doing it since day 1.

Owned a 3.3 AWD 2018 since Sept 2018.
Just rolled over 24k. Just added JB4 tune, intakes and plugs and boy does that make a difference. Just got EVC cutouts installed as well. Love it all. Loved daily driving it 18 miles to work everyday before I switched jobs.
  • Hood needs dents removed and paint from large rocks.... wouldn't have been any better in any other car though. Had one I couldn't avoid that was ~1.5 inches. However, it didn't crack the windshield after hitting the hood!
  • Had massive wear on the insides on my tires after 22000 - probably due to pothole season here in NY. Blew a tire and bent a rim cause they were horrible the past 2 years. The AWD tires are known not to be great overall in terms of shock/puncture.
  • Weather stripping on the back windshield is poking out about a centimeter (at most) about 4-6 in from each side. Doesn't bother me too much and probably can stick it back in with a plastic tool
  • I have been roughly aware to ensure my breaks get properly reheated and cooled if I know I rode em hard. 50-5mph, twice if possible then no braking for as long as you can manage. Seems to be working, haven't needed service and don't pulse.
  • Like above: Interior also holding up very well, only visible wear is one small crease in outbd driver's seat bolster.
  • Haven't noticed any rattles but don't particularly care as much as others
  • Auto-stop/start is better off broken and my next mod is "fixing" that switch - horrible lurching on starts, always turn it off as part of plugging in my phone. Couldn't care less about this feature anyway.
  • Gas mileage: 13-16mpg non-highway being an a**hole. Around 22mpg highway ~80mph
