Hi. Just got a used 2018 micro blue stinger Gt2. I love the way this thing drives and looks especially. The interior is so nice. Power is good for stock. I came from a totally different vehicle type. A heavily modified 2016 Ford edge sport. My Ford edge was a bit quicker than my gt to 60 but that isn't fair with custom turbos and all the money I spent. So a little downgrade in power but this is much funner to drive compared to my SUV. Killer stereo also. Probably will keep it stock. But would love about 30-40 more hp. But no heavy modding for me again.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your brand new Stinger! I'm glad you found us. :) A simple mod like the JB4 would give you that extra horsepower, but pretend you didn't see that. :p

Howdy. Is that signup date accurate? You've been "around" for a while. My Stinger is mostly stock too: aftermarket wheels for the summer and Eibach anti-sway bars is about it.

Yeah the sign up date was awhile ago. I joined here back then to see the images for dragy 0-60 runs. As a nonmember I couldn't see the images. I am very performance oriented. I was seeing what the Stingers were running real world vs car magazine reviews. But I just bought the Stinger GT2 last Saturday. Been wanting one for the last year after I saw them on dealer lots a year ago. Sad thing is I would have bought one two years ago if I knew Stingers existed at the time. I never saw any on the road. Nobody drives these where I live around Chicago. But I finally got one.

Thanks. Yes I saw the JB4. That is so tempting but I don't want to get into regapping plugs again like my last vehicle. I was around 400 whp with my edge sport. The Stinger is quick. I guess they gave it a conservative factory tune for the warranty. Considering the 3.0 Ecoboost has 400hp. I know the 3.3tt is capable of a bit more. But I am sure Kia has their reasons.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Doing the plugs isn't a big deal. There is a lot of information on this forum on a couple different ways to get access to change them.
Look in the tuning section for good advice on what you need.
