Just signed up. Been following this car for a while. Can't wait to get behind the wheel and see if this is my next daily. A GT seems like the perfect car for me right now. Roomy. Comfortable. Fast and luxurious. I'm looking at the deep grey metallic with red interior. I had a 335 coupe in that combo. Loved it. BMW just has horrible customer service so I finally got rid of it.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. What didn't you like about BMW customer service? For me, it was the relentless pursuit of the cockiest attitudes on Earth. Many of them treated me as if I were lucky to be in their presence. I realize a lot of people aspire to own a BMW so to some extent they are right - you're lucky to be there. But that's not how somebody expects to be treated at that level.

ANYWAY. I'm glad you found us! I think we all pretty much feel the same about the Stinger...

The N54 engine suffered from a design flaw of the turbos. There were turbos failing on non modified cars. BMW was sued and had to offer a warrantied fix for the problem. If you have or have had a BMW with an N54 motor, it's a well known problem. Just like the issue with the failing fuel pumps. Well, my car had an aftermarket intake. Nothing fancy. BMW refused to correct an obvious mechanical/design flaw on my car due to this. At that moment, I knew I was getting rid of the car. I had previously dropped a nice chunk replacing the wheel bearings, so hearing that I was going to be stuck with a 3000+ repair was enough for me to part ways. I'd have had no issue with their decision IF the part wasn't failing on non-modded cars. The intake was literally the ONLY thing I did to that car. No tune or anything else. It just proved to me, that BMW North America cares nothing for the satisfaction of their clientele. It's soured me to a brand I've loved for a long time. I doubt I'll ever buy another BMW simply because I have no confidence that they will stand behind their product. Buying a premium brand should provide for something other than the cachet of the badge.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
That is/was my feeling as well. If the problem is happening on cars without mods, YOU FIX THE PROBLEM. But, for all the money BMWNA is making from owners, they must be really broke when it comes to providing warrantied repairs. Far too many people have had to sue them to get work done that should've been covered to begin with. But enough about that....we're here to celebrate this awesome car that KIA is making. And thanks for the compliment on the coupe. I really loved that car. Really loved the coral interior/space grey exterior. I've seen a couple videos online of a grey metallic Stinger GT with red interior. Absolutely would get that combo. My detailing buddy would get it ceramic coated for me and then the rest is just making sure it looks new for as long as possible.

Ceramic coating is a great idea to keep it looking new for as long as possible. I agree, the Stinger is a great looking car inside and out and will perform as good as the N54 335i's - perhaps even a little better...
