Hi guys!

Early June 2021 we got our 2019 Stinger 2.0 - my wife and I have had an eye out for the Stinger ever since the first one hit the streets of our home town of Sandnes, Norway in 2018.

Only about a dozen of these babies have been imported to the country and now one of them is ours

This is our 4th Kia and definitely not our last, our experience with this manufacturer and brand has been really good all throughout our ownership.

Our previous car was a Sportage GT Line with all the bells and whistles short of the engine of a GT, it was a great workhorse and hauled a great deal of construction materials for our upgrades in and around the house.

Now that the majority of the house is upgraded and the kids have started to get their own vehicles, it’s playtime for us grownups

We bought the car from a dealership located 500km/315miles away from us having only seen the pictures in the ad - I must say I had never imagined it to be so vivid in real life, in sunlight it really pops!

You of course know exactly what I mean

I read somewhere online that some part of the Aussie Police force are driving Stinger GT’s on the job since 2019 or 2020 (can’t remember exactly when) - now I know of at least one personally

Yes, several Australian states including where I live in Western Australia decided to use the Stinger as their traffic patrol car. Technically not the GT model though, they used the base model with the V6TT motor though, called the 330S over here. They won't be replacing them with Stingers unfortunately. They didn't find them roomy enough inside for all the equipment they need to carry. I'm not sure they even know what they will replace them with. Probably SUVs.
