The leather of the shifter, wheel, etc seems to have dye that degrades more with time than my ex BMW and Mercedes. I have used the usual cleaning and preservatives, but the 'black' has faded somewhat. What can be used besides 'shoepolish' eo bring it back?? 2019 Stinger, 22,000 miles, ceramic silver with red interior 4WD. Pics are somewhat enhanced by the camera... 20221120_175017.webp

What / how are you cleaning it?

Colourlock makes dye kits as well as cleaning kits

you may have corrosive sweat - i used to, but seems like its not as bad as when i was younger. i used to destroy steering wheels and guitar necks lol

a very good cleaner is Leatherique Prestine Clean. their Rejuvenator is great, too, but kind of pricey and more for older classic leather. modern cars have clear-coated leather, so i use 303 Leather spray - fairly cheap and has UV blockers to keep it from fading and is non-greasy.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I’ve been using Lexol Cleaner and Conditioner. Haven’t noticed any I’ll effects

Yeah as long as you take care of it with good quality cleaner and conditioner, youll keep it nice for years to come. Not sure what you can do at this point.
