@Terry@BMS any help would be appreciated, check light flashed on for a second. The revs went up to around 1050/1100 while at a stop light. Was able to capture a p0300 code. Car is stumbling around and don’t feel I can drive it any further. Tank has a touch of ethanol in it. Densos gapped at 24. Logged this while trying to rev it in the parking lot...

How do I turn it off? Other than putting it to map 0 which I did

I did, I must have not verified the gap was correct. Luckily I have a new set of plugs that arrived today. The second one is cylinder 3 misfire. Do you know which one that is? Also on the middle cylinder under the intake manifold the rubber piece came off when we pulled it out. I was under the impression that you are not supposed to touch the metal coil thingy which happened..

P0503? Did you do that harness recall by any chance (if your car is affected that is)

Didn’t have it done yet
Well I'm not 100% sure of course but that error code implies there is a bad connection somewhere. So I would check the connections on the piggyback, and anything you had to disconnect and put back together with your mods. If not, that harness fraying issue might be your problem. Sorry, hard to help real time on the forum.

Thanks for your help, I think I’m going to just pull the jb4 out and tow it to the dealer

You are going to tow your vehicle to the dealer after you cracked a plug, by not ensuring the gap? Why dont you just change your plugs and check the car afterwards.

Could be a variety of issues.

Clear all codes and see what comes back. Maybe it's a plug, coil, injector?

I didn’t say I wasn’t going to disclose it to them.

@DarthVaderIX Sorry to hear about this issue you're having. I am very close to ordering one of these. Please update us with a status update & resolution if you found any. This could happen to any one of us

Not really. The jb4 has been proven with many in the community. His issues were the plugs. I'm pretty sure they werent gapped appropriately or changed with colder plugs.

Ok, plugs were pulled, Gap was checked. All were within the recommended range (and looked really good I must say). Cleared the codes and test drove the car. So far so good...until about 10 minutes later, quick stutter and check light flashed on and off really quick, no code on the jb4. Then the idle is up around 1050/1100 again. Next I took off the jb4 completely, still idle is up but no code or check light on this time. I am really really confused. I’ll be headed to the dealer tomorrow.
