Hey everyone,
Finally got the JB4 installed on Wednesday, looking for help reading. I'd like to better understand what it is I'm seeing here. For the sake of the graphs, RPM is /100.
Fuelling looks fine, AFR is pretty solid, trims are clustered, but seem a little low in the shift to 3rd?
For Ign_1, I see it's often out of sync with the others, i.e. it'll often drop to 0 between shifts, while the others stay tightly clustered. Check the following graph, there are a few times it drops after a shift, but there's no obvious feeling after the shifts, and timing stabilizes right afterwards.
There's always something weird with Ign_1, note that it spikes after I drop the throttle, all of the rest stay grouped. Is Ign_1 showing some other sort of calculation that the others don't, or is there something legitimately wrong with it? I heard knock was supposed to be timing pulled in 3.5• increments? These almost always drop to zero, so my assumption is it's just something to do with the recently closed TB during shifts?
On a side note, what's everyone using to visualize their logs? I'm using google sheets, not fantastic, but it works.
Anyone interested in a better way to visualize and store their logs? I'm working on putting something together. We're always looking for the same things in the logs to gauge the health of the car, I'd like to have something pre-defined that's looking for pulled timing, trims out of sync, random deviations. I'm also looking for other peoples logs for ML training if anyone is interested in getting involved.
All insight is appreciated please and thank you
