Alright, so i caught some wheels on sale for labor day (square set of 20x8.5 +40 asa gt14) and while i had looked up in the threads folks running that size wheel and offset for the front at least (like the tsw’s stingerhaus used) i was kinda concerned with fitment in the rear.
So after test fitting, without tires, it looks as if the rear is fine and no issues at all, however the front looks as if the lip of the wheel is going to hit the strut. I know width and offsets make the fitment but i see stingers with 9 wides with more aggressive offsets all the time. Could this just be where the car was jacked up off the ground and when the suspension settles it may be ok? The stock 19’s on my gt are cutting it close as well after closer inspection. Just trying to figure out if i’m good to go or if i need to return the wheels to get my money back.
