Hey Everyone!

I'm a Canadian from the VERY lovely BC interior. We are far from the coast, so it gets decently cold, but not so far where it's TOO cold for snow, mixed with the mountains. Perfect storm for huge amounts of snow. If you are familiar with Ken Block, he LOVES to come to Bald Face. That's where the Raptor Trax video was filmed. Well, you trek up the mountain to that resort from my town. So having something good in the snow is pretty important!

and this is where I confess I actually am a salesmen at a Kia Dealership (I'm very new to be fair, bare with me). Our dealership is extremely small and I'm one of two sales people here. However our team is fantastic and it's an absolute blast to work here.

I currently drive a GE8 Honda Fit. With a manual of course. Seriously good little car.

Shameless plug. My YouTube is called CarsSometimes first few vlogs were awful heh. But once things start opening up, we have a solid plan to move forward on it.

I do plan on getting a Stinger (hence why Im here) and also I plan on doing a build series on it. We don't have any more info then everyone else, but it seems news articles are putting the 2021 refresh to arrive for spring. That should be the time! Stinger is perfect for my commute, and the incredibly snowy winters we have here.

There's not many sports cars that you can drive in the snow that isn't a Subaru, or a German import. Plus I get to rep the brand!

Another goal, this one I'm not sure it can happen but: I'd love to have a weekly meeting with our main service guy to see if he can answer any quick service related questions you guys have here on the forum. However, Im not sure how liabilities and things would work, and he is generally EXTREMELY busy. So that one will really need some planning. Maybe even just a monthly Q&A

Welcome from the coast.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. I'm glad you found us! :) It'll be interesting seeing your build series on the Stinger. :)

Howdy. That is a super interesting intro.

As long as the snow isn't too deep, I believe that an AWD Stinger on snow tires will hang with the best "snow beasts". So, just wait for the plows, and then go. :D

Vis-a-vis the "2021 refresh": I think the skuttlebutt is that it won't hit N. America until early 2022.

Heh, that's what many other sources are saying too :/. I just want those tail lights! And hopefully the LSD on the lower trim. Even though I sold phones and car audio before I worked here, I really don't like much in my car. I'd rather save the 100 lbs than have the sound system and power seats heh. the 10.25 is nice from seeing it in our other models, but meh to me personally. So I might end up trying to find a GT wholesale and drop an LSD in it. It is possible, but not easy nor cheap. The part is $800 I think? I can't remember I asked service like a month ago. Never-mind installation which is a nightmare. Hopefully I can find 2019 so I can turn off the fake engine noise heh!

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Andre's!! Cas 11 AND Nel 15 to be specific. I sold phones for many years before I worked at Andre's however. Good crew, Andre himself is really awesome. He refused to take pay when the stores were shutdown so he could keep paying his employees. We didn't see him often. I mean there's like 49 stores now if I remember. His son though, was in our Nelson booth all the time. He loves going to Ainsworth.

Roads around here are incredible. PLUS we have the longest free ferry ride IN THE WORLD \o/

Wow congrats, welcome to the forum, so glad you are getting a Stinger! Wow a big jump from any Honda especially from a Fit. Good to have you here, upload pic when you get the car.

Welcome to the forum. Nice to hear you are getting a Stinger. Two weeks for me on Friday, and I get to take my first road trip this weekend.

Welcome to the forum. Nice intro.

Welcome aboard! I dig your optimism about the refresh, but I can't see Canada getting it on the 2021 model. The US *maybe*, but from all the reports I've seen (based on the 2021 Orange model not being any different other than the colour and interior trim accents) it sounds like we're not getting it here for this model year.
