About 2 weeks ago, some moron in a huge F450 pickup changed lanes right into my beautiful '12 Audi A4 Avant S-Line (pretty rare wagon, if you know what it is) and insurance deemed it totalled
As much as I loved that car, I do love car shopping even more! Since we already have a brand new XC60, we didn't need another SUV (although I was seriously considering a Telluride!). I stuck with the sports sedan category, since all I do is pretty much shuttle my daughter to school in the mornings and other errands....we'll leave the Volvo for family duties and Coscto shopping..hehe...
After a ton of online browsing, I just wasn't into another Audi, BMW....possibly the Volvo V60 or S60, but for some reason, the new Genesis G70 really caught my eye....Stinger was a very close second.
I test drove both, and while the Stinger was very impressive, the G70 really blew me away for some reason! I was dead-set on a white or blue G70 with the sports package.
Low and behold, the Genesis dealer did NOT seem to want to make much of a deal, so off to Kia I went to take advantage of the huge incentive on a lease for a Stinger GT2 in Panthera metal. I got an excellent deal at Kia Cerritos and took home my GT2 ans have been SUPER HAPPY with it!
To be honest, I don't think I've ever been this excited over a car! I mean, I am a car guy, and live and breathe cars 24/7, but for some reason, I instantly bonded to this one! My wife thinks I'm insane for buying a "Kia" (pppfffttt....whatever honey), but I'm loving it! I've had it for 4 days and I've been stopped by neighbors, friends, valets....everyone wants to see it and EVERYONE is impressed by it (except for women...they just dont get it).
Anyway, just wanted to express my love for this car...I keep finding excuses to drive it...and the power is INTOXICATING!
