Hey guys, my first post, just saying hello to the forum members. I have been following this forum since December last year when I first saw the Stinger. Immediately fell in love. Been following this forum closely since and I would like to thank you guys for helping me make a solid decision.

Booked my Stinger early Feb and got it delivered mid April. (Dealer is Kia Darwin, NT, AU). Its a Sunset Yellow, Stinger GT. Absolutely in love with it!

I will create a few more posts on paint protection, badges, dashcams and the dealer. Share my experience and return the favor back.

Welcome to the forum, and Congrats on your Sunset Yellow Stinger, have you seen any other Stinger on the roads, i live in Melbourne, and have not seen another Stinger for about 3 months now.

Yes! Definitely seen a few on the road. Even in a small place like Darwin.

I took my own sweet time to make the decision to buy the Stinger. So between Dec 17 to Feb 18, the dealer showed me a White, Red and Micro Blue Stinger. All of them were GTs and were sold. White Stinger lives in the same suburb that I do. So see it often. I have seen the red one on the streets a few times, hard to miss. My dealer also has a Black GT demo and Ceramic Silver GT line demo.

I think the sales have gone down a bit since, though. May be because end of financial year and so on.

By the way, congrats on the Deep Chroma Blue. That one looks sleek. Definitely my first choice, but wife wanted the yellow, if I was to get a Stinger.

Red dust is not so much of a bother here to be honest. I have driven around national parks here, with less need for cleaning, than a half an hours drive at night.

Surprisingly what needs most cleaning are the insects, since this is my daily drive.

Stinger is rare in Perth I’m lucky to see another any given week, you’ll surely have one unique car in Darwin.
I’ll be sure to look out for the yellow stinger, Darwin holiday planned in July.

Hi Ajax and welcome i think we've got all states covered now with your inclusion. I think yellows a good choice. With the first snap of winter down here could you send as a northerly by any choice?
