My name is Matt and I signed up yesterday. I had a question and help came very quickly! Thanks! I just wanted to say that I wanted a stinger from the first time that I saw one. Next month will be one year since I purchased my 2022 RWD scorpion edition. I absolutely love it so far and have a done a few mods to it. I have had two issues with it. The rear trim by the hatch had the trim issues with the clear coat which I noticed the next day after I bought my car and was washing it. The other is my rotors are slightly warped, but instead of bringing it back to the dealership. I decided to order some drilled and slotted ones. I'm in the Northshore area if anyone is around.

Welcome to the hive! Trim is often warranty replaced, make sure you change the pads for aftermarket ones when you do the rotors... it's a common complaint post up some pics when you get a chance

The trim was under warranty. Any recommendations on pads?

I did EBC redstuff up front and DBA SP in the rear (was planning on redstuff in the back but they were backordered)

The stinger replaced my sorento. My first kia was 2014 sorento SX-L and I kept that till 2021 and then I bought a 2021 sorento sx prestige. I was driving past the lot that I bought my 21 from and they had my car sitting out front. I almost broke my neck as I was passing it by. I did a u turn and looked at it immediately. The main reason I purchased the sorento was due to having a kid that was in soccer. I like it so much that I just bought a new one without thinking. When I saw the stinger, I figured it was time to get what daddy wanted especially since my child is in college now.

LOL!!! Yeah I know what you mean. 2009 I bought the Scion xB when I was thinking "well perhaps we'll have kids". Fast forward to now, ex and I didn't have kids and now at the age where the last thing I want to do is have a kid. Also now that it's just me it's time for me to finally get a fun car *I* want. Midlife crisis...eh...maybe. Or more like finally treating myself to what I deserve.

Brake issues and trim problems are unfortunately pretty common but easy to fix.

Thanks. I did purchase several items form you, Daniel. I changed all my emblems on the trunk to black with a red 2. They look great and the shipping was fast! I also blacked out my steering wheel and got the metal stinger door sill letters oh and got some GT center caps.
