Haven’t yet def some looks at lights very confused at what I was driving I was told mine was the 5th Stinger sold at the dealership I went to 7 days ago. Looking forward to dusting somebody lol

I'm back in Columbus, oh and while I was filling up someone walked by and said it was the first one they had seen in the wild. And as I came to my car from a Kroger someone actually stopped their car, said hi, nice car and if they could look at it more. So they parked, came over and spent time chatting, got in, looked round etc. For the first time in life, I have a cool car. No one ever asked me about my subaru legacy. I would have to run after people, drag them back and force them to listen to me about the legacy. Lol. Just kidding about the last part.

I have a 2.0, I'm very happy with it. I played a bit with an optima sport, he couldn't keep up. Was a bit of fun.
Just orderd an uncle chip, hopefully it'l do what it claims.
Love the car though, when my lease is up in a few years I'm going to get the GT2.

Hope you've had a chance you read up about some issues some people are having with their spark plugs running with or without the tune.

I realized a number of years ago, one simple truth. It was well after having my license suspended for 6 months for points (thanks 1985 corvette).

As I grow older it is not my ability to drive fast that improves but rather my ability to resist the temptation to.

But it sure feels good knowing it is there if I need it.

I agree with @Falaris here. When I was in the military (many decades ago) I was in a detachment that included some really "bad" dudes -- the kind you make movies about. They were the nicest people you'd ever want to meet and would do anything for their friends. You never saw any of them throw their weight around or try to intimidate anyone else. They never started a fight with anyone and usually just walked away. But if they needed to confront a situation and couldn't back away, things got really ugly, really fast. It isn't what you do, as much as what you know you can do if you need to or want to...a sort-of latent control that gives you peace of mind without having to show it. That's what my cars give me.

I'm too old to be street racing, but I have never grown up to the point where a car is just a necessary evil needed for transportation. They are too expensive to abuse, and if I'm going to pay tens of thousands of dollars for a car, I'm damn sure going to take care of it so it takes care of me. My '05 GTO looks showroom new with 98,000 miles on it, and it will occupy a place of honor and respect beside the new Stinger in my garage. Tires are too expensive to shred at stoplights proving to Mustangs and Camaros that I own them. I know it, and what they don't know is OK with me.

Where I use the power is on the open road. I drive a lot of single lane roads in back country where passing opportunities are few and far between with hills and curves and short stretches of passing opportunity. My focus is on 50-70 times, not so much 0-60 or top end. And there is nothing more satisfying than climbing a twisty mountain road at high altitude, blowing UVs away while they gasp for air as I used to do with my supercharged GrandPrix.

Sorry, off the soapbox. Tears in my eyes and a smile on my face.....I love my cars, every one of them.

I have seen a few things, I haven' had any issues yet, and I was planning in upgrading the plugs along with the chip.

Not a challenge per se, but got a kick out of guy in a Dodge Challenger who gave me a thumbs down gesture as he drove by.

as the mrs and i were driving from the dealership after purchasing the car, she was in front of me doing the speed limit, several mustangs and a camaro ss were divebombing around her, trying to get a glimpse of the car, mad enging revving, etc. etc. etc. she was talking to me on the speakerphone and asking what do i do. ignore it, i said. cops around that dealership are infamous about their undercover cars. after about 3 lights, 2 of the mustangs and mr camaro are pulled over for excessive speed. by that time, we had gotten to I95 where the mrs takes a hard left and nails it down the on ramp. she calling out the speed, hit triple digits, laughing the whole way. one short burst made her smile and laugh. think it scared her because she hasn't gone above the speed limit since

Disagree, if all it takes is someone giving you a thumbs down, for you to want to drive dangerously, and "teach him a lesson" I would argue you are the a**hole.

At a stoplight today, Dude in a souped up Tacoma tried to surge ahead of me before two lanes narrowed down to one. I don't think so. Wasn't even close.

I play a different game. When looking challenged by a car that cannot beat me, I let them go. I don’t care... but if it is a car that could compete, I’ll take them on and see if they actually understand how to drive. 8/10 times? They do not.
