1 second in the 1/4 mile is roughly 10 car lengths lol

Trap speed is what everyone should be measuring when talking about roll racing. Looking at 1/4 mile times the 2.0T is just about 2 seconds slower than the GT (14.6 @ 96mph // 12.9 @ 111mph). 2 seconds is huge but 15 mph is huger. Even the difference between the AWD trap speed of 108mph and the RWD trap speed of 111mph is massive.

I was posting with 0-60 times in mind......rolling, flat out ,or the drag strip...it is no contest the 2.0 is woeful, but the 0-60 is ,imo, impressive for a 4 cylinder.

Never seen an official number like that from Kia. Even Car and Driver lists it as 6.1. And obviously any numbers can be beat, all depends on driver, tires, weather, etc. But to say the 2.0 is one second slower than the 3.3 is silly. All actual testing shows otherwise.

What is an "official number"? Something from Kia, in writing, saying what the 2.0T can do. On page 23 of the promo book, it says: "[The Theta II engine] can accelerate the Stinger 2.0T from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.9 seconds."

So the 2.0T is "officially" 1.2 seconds slower in the zero to sixty contest. That looks like a rounded "one second slower" to me. Close enough for street driving situations, nine times out of ten?

The 4 banger will be sitting at the light while gt will be 6 cars ahead just a fact. When you are talking about speed a tenth of a second is a huge distance between cars and it keeps growing . Like someone said bus links.the only thing the to cars have In Common is the monicker stinger.not to say that the 4 cycle is not very nice and quick car.Just to completely different animals. Cheetah versus house cat.can’t we all just feel the Kia love.

Recently a regular basic model mustang year probably 2013 with a catback exhaust
Just because it sound loud he thought he could be faster and slow down next to me and took off. “I knew I could beat him easy but I didn’t even react to it just laught” and 1/2 a mile down. Mustang pulled over by a cop!!
I knew there was cops around here that why I didn’t even react.. gave my self a pad on my back for that!!

last night, challenged, no but three dot workers stopped what they were doing to ogle the car...The biggest one was the first to say something, sounded like,'' hold up hold up...look at this mothereffer here!!'' Then they asked what it was, nice car ....then the light turned green when I said thanks alot!!
