Has anyone gotten the black chrome refinished?

Their gloss finishes are 100x better than plast-dip + glossifier. It looks identical to glossy spray paint as it's smooth and not textured but isn't permanent. Any overspray can be cleaned off with a clay bar.

I was also able to apply a ceramic coating over top, something i wouldn't even attempt with plasti-dip due to its more porous finish.
Is removal/peeling just as easy?

I haven't tried yet but Superwrap is supposed to be easier to remove than plasti-dip.

The Hyperdip is also marketed as easier to remove than plasti-dip.

I sprayed mine with Superwrap. They have a gloss black that is peelable like plasti-dip but better. 1 year in and holding up nicely.
That looks so much better than all the chrome and even carbon fiber in my opinion. I love the chrome delete look and the blacked out look. I definitely might give this a try as I did a similar project on my q50 Infiniti red sport Plasti dipping all the chrome. The q50 had way more chrome than the stinger. I’m going to give this super wrap a try. Thanks dude and how many coats did you use of the super wrap ?

For the front grille and bottom grille did you stick inside engine compartment and outside to prevent from overspray ?

No problem, glad it helped someone out! I honestly don't remember. I followed Superwrap's directions. It does need quite a few coats. Similar to Plasti-dip.

I used the Tape and Drape product from Superwrap's website and then a lot of painters tape around the edge of the grille to completely seal off the grille from the outside. I had zero overspray through the grille.

That’s a big sigh of relief. I had a lot of overspray with the plasti dip and required a lot of cleaning after getting done. I’ll make sure to prep correctly as that is most of the job time. Proper prep makes for an easy job. The hyper dip matches well with the rest of the black on the car it looks like from the pics and it’s holding up well.

You can remove overspray with some rubbing alcohol correct not just clay bar ? And which ceramic coating did you apply on top to finish it off ?

Probably could use an IPA wipe yes. I coated my whole car with the Adam's Polishes Graphene Ceramic coating, including the Superwrap. Awesome results.

Yeah the more time you spend prepping, the easier the clean-up. I would cover up even more than what I showed in my photos as I did have some overspray on the fenders. The tape and drape is cheap, and easy to use so cover as much of the car as you can.
