Has anyone driven in the snow yet?

Ultra High Performance All Season tires should be considered for the Stinger , not simply All Seasons , there are reviews in the Tire/Wheel section on this forum

and here's another review to complicate things

Nothing there about road noise, ride comfort, or anything resembling above-freezing performance. All-Season or All-Weather, they're All-Compromise. I'll do my homework and have a set of winter wheels & tires, as well as a set of summer wheels & tires. When the temp swings from -20 to +105(F) where I live, I'll get the best of each. YMMV!

I would not go anywhere in the NE area in the winter on summer tires, let alone performance ones like Michelin Pilot 4s.

What clearance Stinger has in your country btw? Can you measure? Can't find that info.

When I test drove the GT and Premium, they seemed that they has a similar ground clearance to the Optima, so 5.1 inch (130mm) sounds about right. Although, the passenger side rear was a bit lower after the drive, where my buddy was sitting after all the switching of drivers, so i’mguessing things will get lower (springs settling) over time.

From the Australian Brochure:

Can you drop the link to that info? Want to confirm something.. here, in Russia, we usually have bigger ground clearance for same models because of our shitty roads. So if somebody above said "similar ground clearance to the Optima", want to check what Optima have in your listing.

Oh, "Australian Brochure", I missed ... checking...

Ok, checked: we have +20mm on Optima, so expecting 150-155mm I think. Audi A7 has 160mm (they sweared) and Mercedes E200 (AMG lines) has 165mm as my Mazda 6 (that's the biggest clearance for such a car on the market), so, possibly even 160mm. Despite of those "looking big" numbers, all those cars looks great and "as it should be", not "too high" in wheel arcs.

Check out youtube " Kia Stinger GT Winter Driving and Drifting in the Snow" its a secured vid , so I couldnt grab it .
