Has anyone blacked out their black chrome trim?

So I have a Ceramic Silver GT2. Windows are tinted, wheels powder coated black, black badges and spoiler too. I’ve been wondering lately what it would look like if all of the black chrome was also blacked out. Has anyone done it? Pix?

Preferably I’d love to see this on a Ceramic Silver Stinger, but all colors are welcome.

I just picked up my 2019 GT1 Ceramic Silver last week barely 100 miles on her and she's current at the shop getting all the trip plastidipped and a ceramic coating put on.

When I get her back and swap the badges I'll share some pictures.

If you're going to swap badges, you should do that before the ceramic coating application. My detailer swapped my badges before applying the ceramic coating. He said the new badges won't seal properly over a ceramic coat....

Hmm that seems odd. The existing badges wont have ceramic coating under them, and I'm simply removing them and adding black ones the same size.

I was going to just plastidip the badges but the Kia logo isn't raised its just flat so it would just look like a round black oval.

I sprayed it in black basecoat with 2k clear over it..

Don't know about you but at first I kinda liked the black chrome but now it just looks like chrome which I'm not crazy about, especially on Ceramic Silver.
