Handling add ons

I have front & rear Swaybars + Whiteline heavy duty endlinks since 2018, I do not have the atq subframe collar kit, IMO I don’t see the long term benefit of them.
The Swaybars & endlinks are a great upgrade for this car, however I have recently added Ultra Racing chassis braces & I can confirm that adding these will definitely tighten up the handling & will keep the car planted especially when cornering.
I only have the mid brace & rear brace fitted which I find is sufficient as the front section of the car is well braced already with gearbox mounts etc.
I highly recommend these to anyone who is after what you are looking for.

Oh those look beautiful. Thank you for the guidance in the right direction with those braces. Are you awd and on a scale from 1-10 , 10 being it’s a dramatic improvement in the handling of the car how would you rate those braces ?

The big improvement with the front sway is the steering response and the elimination of body roll. Transforms the car. I have the ATQ collars as well, they smoothed out the chassis response to bumps. They just made the car feel more solid. I am itching to get the rear chassis braces but I have other non-vehicular priorities to care of.
I got to give that front sway bar a go then with the mid and rear braces. I’ll probably just install the atq kit since I already have it

Very much appreciated sir for the reviews. I know some local ppl who have the atq subframe collar kit on their vehicle and they barely notice any difference but I may just give them a shot. Thanks
You're very welcome, and if you do get them, please come back to the site here and leave your review.

Being in OZ we only get RWD & I have the GT here which has active suspension, although driving with the swaybar & endlink upgrade for 4 years which has been great, the addition of these braces really lift it to another level & the difference is definitely dramatic, cornering is amazing, the car feels so much firmer & planted & definitely gives me much more confidence in its overall ability.
I should also add I‘m running F: 245/35/19 & R: 275/30/19 tyres which also contribute to the cars improve handling & cornering ability, IMO the braces complete the overall package of handling improvements to the Stinger.
I would rate the addition of these 8 out of 10

8 out of 10 has my approval . Thanks for the addition of your specs on your car. I’ll be looking into these . Since I’m awd and your rwd would there be any difference in your opinion ?

I have them already. Yet to install but was about to sell them after hearing local guys telling me they weren’t worth it. I’ll give them a go and form my own opinion.
Oh cool, yes please do and let us know.

Definitely a difference between AWD & RWD, the AWD will have better handling & cornering especially in twisty country roads at speed.

how hard to install sway bars in a home garage?

the only videos for Stinger sway bar installation on Youtube i've seen were all done with the car on a lift ... which i dont have. lol
Hard. But not impossible.

So, rear, which is ~$285 and mid seems to be out of stock - how much was that one?

Is the installation basically unscrewing / re-screwing? Or do you have to drill holes?

Not sure about the whiteline, but the Eibach reuses all the stock holes and mounting points, no holes or modifications to make.

Here’s the Aussie link with pricing.
Installation is easy, undo existing bolts, fit brace, tighten & torque.
Little hint for the rear brace use a “prop” in the diff before loosening bolts, makes it easier to get bolts started.

Thanks - it says "Korea model" on those. ultraracing-usa.com responded by saying they're out of production permanently. Not sure if there's a difference between the Korean model and the USDM model, for this application. Also not sure if they'll ship to the US.

Email Cherry Tuning here in Sydney, I know they ship overseas, they supplied & fitted mine, I know they had stock in July but its worth the ask.

Thanks. Really busy right now, but might try next week or the week after..

Edit: I checked, and Ultra Racing part #s seem to be the same between AUS and USA, so hopefully I can order from somewhere in AUS in the future.

Yes they should be the same & when you get around to is & if it’s what you want its entirely up to you, good luck

So sorry, keep meaning to update this thread: I found that Throwdown Performance has them in stock (or claims to). I placed an order with the Black Friday code and got around 15% off - maybe if you ask nicely, they'll still give it to you? They said they're shipping today/tomorrow, so I'll update when I get a tracking number and when they arrive, etc..
