Finally done.

Can someone clarify for me? Both those links state Shipping: Does not ship to United States. Did you still order from the cartuningpoint seller for delivery in the US?
I had to remove links since I am a new member. I am getting a new Stinger GT RWD tomorrow (in Austin) and want to get the springs ordered as soon as I get the papers signed.

Hey MacDogg,

If you are looking to purchase the H&R lowering springs in the US, we have them available at the K8 Stinger Store. If you shoot me a message I would be happy to get you hooked up with a discount as well. You can view the H&R lowering springs product page HERE. Please let me know if you have any additional questions as well.

Hey Daniel it would be great to buy these state side but i’m not so sure these are the RWD specific springs.

There’s no part number on the web page to confirm that these are the part #28701-2 springs with a 30mm/20mm drop AND the drop on your advertised springs is 1.3in/1.2in — should be 30mm/20mm (.8in drop in the rear) if they are the RWD specific springs.

The ebay springs are advertised 30mm/30mm but they are the correct part number and those who have ordered and installed the #28701-2 get the intended rake.

Here’s the H&R specifications from H&R

Thank you for clarifying. You are correct about the RWD specific springs not being available from the manufacturer stateside yet. Hopefully, they go into production here soon.

Thanks for the responses. I did have to buy the -2 springs from eBay. I was confused cause both quoted links don't ship to the U.S. but the same seller has another eBay page that does so I ordered from there.

The RWD specific set (30mm/20mm) is categorized as part#28701-2 BUT are supposed to include the same rear springs (20mm) as the AWD #28701-1 set. The front springs should have the #28701-2 stamped on them. The rear springs (20mm) should have the #28701-1 stamped on them - see post #147

So, when you buy the #28701-2 RWD specific springs you should receive:
- a box that says #28701-2
- two front springs stamped #28701-2
- two rear springs stamped #28701-1 (20mm)

But the link to K8’s H&R spring set is a 30mm/30mm drop and H&R’s AWD springs are supposed to be 20mm/20mm (same rear springs)?? @Daniel @ K8 Stinger Store could you please provide a part number for those H&R springs?

@Wascalwabbit77 your stinger looks great but from that angle that looks like an even drop without rake but the pictures in your post #147 in this thread your front springs are stamped #28701-2 and rear springs stamped #28701-1 Could you take a picture straight on from the side please

Yea bro,,,,, the regular EIBACH springs really left me dissapointed..... $275 for the springs then i paid $800 for install.... so lost big money with those,, but i hated that rake soooo much that i took the gamble on these thru ebay.... ill admit i was concerned cuz why would the only way to be able to get these would be thru EBAY.... anyway,,, orderd them,,,, slapped them on (another 800$) but,,, once i seen it..... i was immediately extatic... now it dont look like i got two fattys in the back seat lol

Front 2 fingers rear 2 fingers.... only reason the rear seems “super very slightly lower is cuz the front are 245 and rears are still 255....so the shade makes it look slightly off.... but other then that its perfectly level.....

shouldn’t those gaps be different by 0.39”/10mm between front and back, not even? I thought the front (30mm drop) was supposed to be lower than the back(20mm drop) resulting in an increase rake angle

see post #1

leveled is wrong, OP and others have rake. positive rake angle is when the front end is lower than the rear end not level. The -2 are not supposed to be level that is why i’m confused your front springs are stamped -2 but your car looks level.
