Installed these along with a pair of OEM new rotors I got a good deal on. The install was supposed to be simple and I guess it is if the lug head at the dealership didn't over torque the hell out of everything.
I had the rotors turned in early February due to vibration and the tech that did it over torqued the bolts holding on the calipers. Even the screws holding the rotors on were very tight and I head to easy out one that the head messed up on due to over tightening. I had to use a two foot breaker bar on two of the caliper bolts and even with that it was very tough.
Other than that the Brembo brakes are the easiest I have every worked on. Very simple to install new pads. I did put the Gyrodisc pads up against the OEM pads and they are the same size and shape. The fit perfect. I bedded them in per the instructions.
The future will see if this cures the pad deposit issue. Hopefully this is resolved. Shame on you Kia for not fixing this by now!
So with the Eibach sway bars and now the brakes I am all set. Car handles much better now and hopefully no more brake vibration issues!
