GT2 Wheel Advice

Hey guys. Total wheel noob here. Will be getting a 2019 in November and I'm torn between a 2.0 Premium and a GT2 (both will also be AWD and all-season). From what I can tell, there will be no changes to the 2019 wheels for either model.

I like the Premium wheels as-is. But I really don't like the GT2 wheels and there don't seem to be any other other factory wheel options. First: Is there any way to order a GT2 AWD All-Season but have it come with the Premium wheels (would they fit as a one-for-one swap)? Second: Assuming "no" to the first question, what is the easiest way to replace the GT2 wheels with something else (and avoid having it be custom made, etc)? Do you work with the wheel manufacturer or a wheel/tire shop, or the dealer?

Unfortunately, KIA doesn't do "orders" in the United States for Stingers. What's on the dealer's lot at the time is what's available or some dealers will trade between each other, in the region, for the configuration you are looking for.

As for wheels, your best bet is to buy the GT2 and then either trade or purchase the premium wheels from another forum member/owner OR you can purchase through the dealer (pricey!).

As for your decision between the premium and GT2, sit in both and take both for a test drive. Problem solved

You're deciding between 255HP and 365HP?...

Also, aftermarket wheels are your best bet. They don't have to be custom made, and they won't be cheap, but the wide variety of aftermarket wheels you can shop are truly your best bet if options are what you're looking for.

I know. But the decision isn't "which do I prefer?" Rather, it's "is the extra $8k work it if the car spends most of its life in traffic?"

Separate question: Do you guys know if the current Premium wheels will fit onto a GT2 (considering the larger brakes, sizing, etc...)

Sir, more HP is always worth it even in traffic. Sometimes, you gotta dart for that small opening because people are a**holes and won't kindly give you space to merge
