So I have the 2018 base model awd, it come with the 18in wheels.. I was wondering if it would be a big problem or problem at all to put the 19in GT stock stinger wheels on my non GT stinger? I mean, same body right?

Howdy and welcome. No trouble at all.

Might sound crazy but anyone know if I can put 18inch wheels on the GT? Ive gone through too much tires for having it such little time. Damn Indiana potholes.

Not crazy at all: it's one of the ways the Stinger comes from the factory.

@jeeeezluis I downsized, really happy. If your concern is potholes then you can increase the sidewall to both improve ride comfort and protect the wheels with 235/45/18s, I think they look aggressive too, been working great for a year now.

If anyone is looking for a set of 19 inch staggered GT wheels with a lot of tread left near North Carolina PM me. @McFerranheit not sure where you are located.

Check out my sig pic.....there you are!! a 2018 base awd with ''gt'' wheels......matter of fact KIA started to do what I did, recently.. ...turn a base model into a ''gt'' model.

But, you said to look at the pic in your signature. There is no pic, only img-0846-jpg-edited-jpg.50324

So, you could see the pic in your signature from your end? I noticed recently that it went away (could see it before for a long time) to be replaced by "img-0846-jpg-edited-jpg.50324". I wonder what's up with that? Actually, it wasn't THAT pic (above), it was pointed left and was on a lawn all by itself, if I recall correctly.

yup that was when it had the oem base wheels......Some forums make sig pics easy....others not so much.

Why did the older signature pic work and not this one?

me thinks it is too large and I'm too dumb to remember how to crop it, shrink it...what have you.

Open it in Paint, then choose a drastically smaller size, say 50% or even smaller. Always works for me. :D

''open it in paint''...so I upload to the signature then use the paint icon??

Paint, the Windows app that comes with all Windows operating systems: you open your original pic file in Paint, then click on "Resize" in the Home screen: the popup allows you to select a percentage, so, if you go with 25% of original size, then save that change, you'll have a new version of your original pic that is tons smaller both in dimension and reduced file size. I've never uploaded a pic to the forum's signature app, so I don't know anything more about that: but if your original is "too big" (haven't seen the issue here, to be honest), downsizing the file should fix that and you can sport another pic in your signature space. (If you only use a phone and have no computer, I cannot speak to that at all.)

yeah I tried that with the 2nd image ....it's the uploading part that screwed me with the pic it showed up for me but as you said was an [image] to everyone else....

I've just tired this for the first time, and "Insert Image" in the signature editor does not work. I tried a full-sized file and one 5% of full size, and only 68.5KB, and the message I get is, "Image cannot be loaded from the passed link": something I've never run into before. The link is from Dropbox. Maybe Sal can enlighten us?

You would think it is easy,it probably is, but not for straight forward people like us.....a kind way of saying ignorant, lol
