GT Stinger Rattle in my roof possibly the sunroof

Hi Everyone,

I have a rattle in my roof, i have had in for repairs already once they replaced a part in the sunroof but the rattle is still happening anyone else had this issue.
I would love to be able to tell them what i think it may be so I don’t keep wasting the dealers time.
But i must say Kia have been fantastic with the warranty work.

Hi Leanne and welcome to the forum. This is a known issue in a number of vehicles and has been widely discussed here
Concerns - Popping/Creaking Noise from Sunroof
Suggest you keep taking it back to dealer until you are satisfied. If your dealer speaks with KIA Australia they should be able to advise a remedy.
If you could put your location in your profile it would assist with obtaining local knowledge.
Also, you may care to provide details of your vehicle.

Welcome @Leanne , to our stingerforum, other Stinger owners have had issues regarding noise from the sunroof, hope the link previously provided by @ShannonC , shows this issue has been raised by other owners and resolved. It's good to hear Kia has been good to you regarding the warranty work so far. So tell us, which exterior colour did you choose, Oh Ok, just as I'm typing this i saw your message pop up, and a photo of your Snow White Pearl Stinger, enjoy.

Mine has just gone back in this morning for the 3rd time regarding this issue. They've sent a tech from somewhere else to come and look at it, so in the meantime we're driving a 2019 Sportage with 2500 miles on it that already has a plastic tapping noise in the back seating area.

I was just reading all the posts wow lots of people are having issues i thought i was just me and i was jinxed i think every car i have owned has had some rattle ‍ But obviously not..
Yes i bought the snow white with black interior, haven’t done anything really to it apart from adding the Kia sports exhaust package. I do love my car i am very happy with it and i am sure once they fix the noice i will be even more happy.

Yes I do, but if I have to be honest I love my Camaro more 17 years old no rattles and no mechanical issues to date.
