that's impressive. Care to share your impressions of the chip? I assume it's the Lap3

Someone told me they looked at video and it looks like it’s just about 4.2seconds. It does the job. Not a fan of the chip and don’t want to use it longer than I have to. I have seen many Optimas develop issues and blow by using the chip.

That's because the Optima doesn't have forged rods and pistons. :p ;)

I bet the optima does have forged rods. In fact I bet 98% of cars made in 2017 have forged rods.

Hmm! I wonder which parts broke then... I do know there are some pretty heavily tuned Optimas out there. I just suspect the Stinger, especially in V6 form, is made to handle a lot more power...

There can be a huge difference in the quality of the metal that goes in to the rod, bit no one is casting rods anymore..
My guess would be the rod bolt stretched and it spun a bearing, from there the rod cap goes, and the piston gets crammed into the head. It would be interesting to compare some internals from the 2.0 and the v6..

370 miles?
You have read the big book which comes with the car?
Not more than 3000 rpm for the first 622 miles...
Maybe a engine-killer, definetely more gas consumption as necessary all the car live long.
But who cares money....
