I guess it really isn't really import but what is the green sticker that say remove that's on your smart key when you get it
thanks

I think they have the part number and serial number of the smart key on them, maybe you need that if they need to be reprogrammed.

If that's rhe case maybe they should have said remove and retain for further use or something like that rather than just remove. Anyway thanks.

The number you need to keep is the one on the plastic tag which tells the dealer how to program a replacement fob. The green tag must be some sort of inventory number to keep track of the cars when loaded for shipping and isn't needed after delivery. I kept mine, anyway along with the plastic code tag, and I also recorded both in a spreadsheet where I keep stuff like that.

That figures. That's the one they didn't give me. Hope it isn't specific to the smart keys I have.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I kept my green sticker on one fob and put it away in a drawer. The salesman specifically said to hang onto it, as I still did with my Optima's. If you want to use both fobs just peel it off and staple it to something in the folder you keep all the maintenance records for your car in.
