Been working on this for a while. Got two competing dealers and ended up with BOTH offering pricing at invoice and they gave us all the holdback. That’s almost $1k better than COSTCO. It can be done. White GT1 will be in the driveway tomorrow.
MSRP was $46645 and final selling price was $41095. That price was reduced further by $1500 off because we have a Lexus and $2000 off for financing. (Didn’t want to deal with the “Florida dealer buyout” associated with lease/buyback.) Only other cost was sales tax and tag. They also threw in three years of oil change/tire rotation.
P.S. Not bragging, just wanted others to know the kind of levels the dealers can afford to go down to. I have always found mention of the word "holdback" gets their attention right away.
The car is in the garage now and the new badges are on the way. We look forward to applying forum knowledge to our new vehicle.
