My wife was never fond of the Stinger (but I still love her) and we were down to the last car on our short list, a Lexus GS 350 F-Sport. We drove one, both liked it, and bought it. I really don't know which car I would prefer since each has advantages and disadvantages but I'm happy with the Lexus and the wife's happy. I would have bought the Stinger without trying all the other cars but that didn't work out. Fortunately you can't see that grille while you're driving so I'm really happy with the car.

You guys have been great and I hope y'all enjoy your Stingers. Thanks again for the forum, Sal. You've kept the forum a good place to hang out without too much crap. It's been fun going from waiting to actually seeing a Stinger to driving one. And you never know when I'll be lurking here.

Wish you well and safe driving!

I think it's the better car but that back seat .

What was the cost difference between the two cars?

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
you will be missed charly. as for the wife, a little benadryl and her forged signature would have gone a loooong way to getting the stinger...i'm just saying.

What would life (or love, or marriage) be without compromises? You made a good choice.

And of course, you're always welcome here when the Lexus forum gets a little too boring, as it undoubtedly will by comparison to this one. ;)

Happy trails!

The Lexus GS 350 F-Sport is a really nice luxury sedan. I don't see the GS on the road as much as I used to - but it always catches my eye. I hope you'll stop in, at least from time to time, to say hello...

I just came out of a Lexus lease. Great deals to be had with their multiple security deposits. My IS250 F Sport had partially cracked front bumper and I still got all my refund back. Great dealership experience.

Well F-Off! Ha! Great choice. Enjoy the Lexus.

I paid 52 before the tint, paint protection, etc.

I went to two Lexus dealers and one was just kinda meh but the one we bought from, Sacramento Lexus, was killer.

Thanks everyone!

I like the Lexus and think it will be a great car for you but it would be out of my comfort price range. I have the Stinger GT1 with the Driver Assist package RWD and the price was $38.5k on a lease. Good luck with your Lexus.

i'm very curios about what your wife didn't like about the stinger. too sporty? not luxurious enough?

I don't believe she was initially going for the luxury but in the end that was a motivator. I don't know that I agree with this but she also preferred the Lexus' ride. Too Sporty? Maybe. I had a 350 Z and she didn't like the ingress/egress any more. The fact that the Lexus is taller may have been a factor.

Yeah, the Stinger is low. Be safe and enjoy the Lexus.
