Good to ge here

Right down to business!

Looking pretty clean so far. In case you are interested in tidying up the hoses for the CCV (driver side) can, @ZyroXZ2 seemed to tuck them up under the engine cover with a zip tie in his review thread.

Also for your consideration: that's a pretty long run from the can to the plumbing, and apparently you could theoretically get some condensation pooling where the hoses hang lowest. It may be worthwhile to check for that from time to time when servicing the cans.

Anyhow, stay safe and enjoy.

I have the intakes and they sound great. Can’t imagine they do much for horsepower, but I like them.

I second (or third) getting a clear wrap or ceramic coating. I have ceramic and it makes cleaning a breeze and the car always looks freshly waxed. Wrap would protect against nicks better

Why the hot air intakes?

Can get expensive to pay someone to do, but if doing it yourself (the ceramic coating) can be a good cost/benefit.

There's also some spray on ceramic coatings (I'm experimenting with the turtle wax stuff) that have promise, cheap and easy to apply and last for many months. I'm about halfway through my test, so far so good.

I decided against Xpel on the front end for this car (only did the headlamps), and just touched up my first rock chips the other day at 8,000 miles. Just a financial decision I made early on, assuming I was going to run this car into the ground more or less. Fwiw - I have more tiny marks on my windshield than I did on my front end. And a door ding on both sides from idiots. And a tiny fender dent. I mean, if you drive the car it's impossible to prevent this stuff so I stopped caring.

Inconceivable.:alien:

I've developed a regimen for reducing the odds of attrition; which includes how I drive: I was never a tailgater before, and I'm even more careful with the Stinger. Parking lot dings are the easiest to avoid: simply park where others do not, the walking will do you good too. :P

Attrition from the road plays hell with the front of this car. But, I've not got PPF on any of my dark chrome, and so I can gauge how bad the paint would look by how the dark chrome is holding up, or not, depending on how you look at it. The paint seems less resistant than the dark chrome.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

I am using the Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic (gray bottles) and have been very pleased. The durability has been great and the hydrophobics hold up on paint and glass, even when the car is filthy with dust after being parked outside, a month after washing and topping off with the ceramic wet wax (drying aid) product.

They also have a Graphene series (black bottles), supposedly their "professional" product line. Haven't tried that one yet.

Tutle wax have been improving their products like crazy but nothing... Nothing beats a real ceramic coating like the CarPro UK 3.0 and and Carpro Gliss 2.0 on top, nothing beats this in terms of durability, gloss and hydrophobicity.

The hybrid ceramic is the stuff I'm using.

Parking isn't always optional for me, my clients have parking where they have parking. In Vegas, you are stuck with what you get.

The fact I've reduced my front end dings to a few chips in 8,000 miles is why I'm foregoing the Xpel in the first place. Other than leaving an armed guard or buying all the land in Vegas and kicking everyone off, I'm not going to avoid random stupid.

Thanks for the useful(?) info.
