I painted the chrome one black myself and looks nice. Sanded it and used primer, paint and clear coat. But the adhesive backing got messed up and lost it’s stickiness so added glue. I mounted it but the glue is messy so will take it off. Bought another chrome one and will just use that. I’m done. Black does look cool.
I am guessing shipping to Hong Kong should also not be a problem? Want to order the glossy black script in time for when I pick my new car up and have it ceramic coated.
Hahaha there are ppl with pretty atrocious taste here!
Just drove back from airport this morning... Passed the supercar club doing their monthly meet up... Probably 50-60 aventadors.. McLaren.. Sls.. Ferraris all ripping up the highways. Def badge snobbery here. Lolol
I agree with everything you wrote - but what I quoted... Now you know more about this stuff than I do - I'm new to the whole KDM emblem thing. But the hydro-printed pieces in my store are sprayed with a high quality UV resistant automotive clear coat. They haven't been touched by the hand of God or anything - but they do look really good - and I haven't had anyone complain yet...
Thanks for the info. Do you all stand behind the lifespan of your finish in any way? Is there any warranty against wear? It would be a bummer to pay $85 (which I agree is reasonable as long as it lasts) for your painted emblem only to have the paint/clearcoat start to flake away within a year.
We've done thousands of custom painted items and haven't had an issue like that at all. The only time that someone might have a problem is if they get matte black without a clearcoat and use a power washer or go through an automated car wash. In that case it's understandable if the paint gets scratched or chipped. That aside, any glossy, OEM bodycolor or matte with matte clear is the same as the paint on the rest of your car.

I got your message. World-wide shipping is no problem at all.

This was the ideal option for my Ceramic Silver GT2! I'm very satisfied with the results. A ceramic coating was done over the entire car to include this badging as well. All other badging was removed from the rear for a nice clean presentation.
